Overview

What is .coupons

coupons is an English word for vouchers, codes or cards a store gives its customer to pay less. Online shoppers know them from being asked to type a discount code before paying. It suits sites that gather these codes, and stores that hand them out to their customers.

.coupons entered the internet’s root in 2015, is run by Binky Moon, LLC, and supports DNSSEC signing and names in Arabic letters. With us its price starts with a first-year offer, and renewal costs clearly more, so count its cost over years before you build a site and an audience that returns to it.

It is a very specialized extension that says one thing, so it doesn’t work as the address of your whole store. Coupon sites are many and alike, and visitors return only to the one whose codes they found valid; so make your codes work as the name promises, and remove expired ones as you go.

  • Anyone, person or organization, from any country, with no documents or conditions; the contact details in the owner’s name just need to be accurate.

  • Yes, once 60 days have passed since it was registered or last transferred. Ask your current provider for the transfer (EPP) code and open a transfer request with us; a full year is added to the domain’s term.

  • We remind you by email 31 days and 8 days before expiry, and 3 days after it. After expiry the website and email stop, and you can renew in the first eight days at the regular renewal price; from day 10 it may go to auction. If it is deleted and the registry allows redemption within 30 days, the redemption fee is $200 plus a year’s renewal.
