Overview

What is .team

The word team means a group working or playing toward one goal. .team entered the internet’s root in 2015 and is run by Binky Moon, LLC; it is a short word known to anyone who has watched a football match or worked on a project with colleagues.

.team suits sports clubs and teams, volunteer teams and work teams that want a page for their members: schedules, news and results. It also works for an “our team” page at a company that wants to introduce customers to the people working for them, or for a careers page inviting people to join.

With us the first year comes with an offer much cheaper than the renewal. The word suggests sport and teamwork, so it doesn’t work as the main name of a store or a clinic, or of someone who works alone. If your audience is in Saudi Arabia, put your city’s name with the team’s, so fans know at first sight it’s their team.

Who it suits

For your field: is .team the best fit?

Every field has an extension that says something about it. Here is what .team says in each, and which extension completes it.

  • A sports team

    Excellent · The first choice

Schedules, results and match photos under a name that says at first sight you’re a team.

    Register it with.team.club

  • A volunteer team

    Excellent · The first choice

A page for tasks and new volunteers, under a name that says the work gets done together.

    Register it with.team.org

  • A company’s “our team” page

    Good · A good fit

Introduces your customers to the people working for them; the company’s main site stays on .com.

    Register it with.com.team

  • A remote work team

    Good · A good fit

An internal address for tools, documents and email, known to every member wherever they are.

    Register it with.team.com

  • A club or team in Saudi Arabia

Good · A good fit with .com

Your city’s name before .team tells your fans you’re one of them; .com is for those who type it out of habit.

    Register it with.com.team

  • An online store

    Consider another · Consider .store

A buyer looks for a store, not a team; a store’s name should say what it sells.

    Register it with.store.com

What it does for you

  • Dates in one place

Training, matches and meetings on one page everyone knows.

  • A cheaper start

The first year comes with an offer, so the team’s page starts at a low cost.

After expiry the website and email stop, and you can renew in the first eight days at the regular renewal price; from day 10 it may go to auction.
