Overview
What is .study
The word study carries both senses: to study and revise, and a study in the sense of written research. .study entered the internet’s root in 2015 as a new generic extension; it is run by Registry Services, LLC and supports DNSSEC signing, but not names written in Arabic, so its names use Latin letters, digits and hyphens.
It suits admissions and study-abroad offices, summary and revision platforms, groups of students who study together before exams, and study and research centers. It speaks in the student’s voice, not the institution’s, so it suits those who serve and accompany students more than those who grant them the qualification at the end of the road.
Its price with us is fixed, the first year and every renewal, and it’s higher than .com’s. Many people know it less well than .com, so register .com with it for those who look for you by name alone, at home or abroad.
