Payment, invoices and refunds

Payment methods, fees, and what is refunded and what isn’t.

Domain prices
  • By card or by bank transfer, and domain registration starts automatically as soon as your payment is confirmed:

    1. 01Cards: Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, with Apple Pay and Google Pay where they’re offered at checkout.
    2. 02Bank transfer: transfer the amount to our bank account, and the sales team will give you the account details.
  • Plainly: no. The price you see when you search is the final price, and what other companies treat as paid features we provide as part of the service:

    1. 01A full control panel: complete control over DNS settings and where your domain points, free.
    2. 02Protection against domain theft: a transfer lock is always available to you.
    3. 03Specialized technical support: for any question about your domain, at no extra cost.
  • Yes. Our prices, offers included, cover the administrative fees of global organizations such as ICANN, so there are no hidden costs at checkout: the price you see is the final price, with no “account opening” or “domain activation” fees.

CoreVPS servers

What a virtual server is, who it’s for, and how it grows with your project.

CoreVPS servers
  • A virtual private server (VPS) is the answer for projects that have outgrown shared hosting: a physical server is split into fully isolated virtual servers, each with its own dedicated CPU, memory and storage.

    1. 01Dedicated resources: no one shares your memory or CPU, so your site’s performance stays stable.
    2. 02Full control: root access to install whatever you want and change system settings.
    3. 03Isolated security: problems on other sites on the same machine don’t reach you.
    4. 04Cost-effective: the power of a full dedicated server at a much lower price.
  • A VPS is the bridge between simplicity and power: for anyone who wants stability and professional performance without the cost of a full dedicated server.

    1. 01Online store owners: to process orders fast and secure payment data, even during sales seasons and rushes.
    2. 02Sites with growing traffic: when shared hosting can no longer handle their constant flow of visitors.
    3. 03Developers and programmers: for a private environment with root access to install programming languages, databases and development tools.
    4. 04Software-as-a-service (SaaS) owners: for strict security settings and fixed resources that keep the service running.
    5. 05Companies running several sites: all on one server with powerful resources and central control.
  • Every project has its own software needs, so we offer 34 OS templates across ten systems, to build your environment the way you want:

    1. 01Ubuntu and Debian: developers’ favorites for their ease and wide support.
    2. 02AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux: the stable CentOS alternatives, ideal for business environments.
    3. 03CloudLinux: best for hosting providers, to isolate resources between accounts.
    4. 04Oracle Linux and Astra Linux: for enterprise systems with an advanced security focus.
    5. 05FreeBSD: for superb network performance and exceptional stability.
    6. 06Windows Server: for Microsoft applications such as ASP.NET and SQL Server databases.

Domain registration

National and global domains: price, term and privacy.

Domain registration
  • You can pay by card (Visa and Mastercard, with Apple Pay and Google Pay where your card supports them) or by bank transfer. Prices show in your country’s currency first, and in US dollars from the currency menu.

  • Special prices and offers apply to the first year only; after that the domain renews at its regular price, without a discount. You’ll find the renewal price next to the registration price for every extension.

  • Registration is simple and straightforward, designed to get your idea off the ground within minutes:

    1. 01Pick the name: choose a short, easy-to-remember name that expresses your identity or brand.
    2. 02Check availability: use the search tool to make sure the name is available in the extension you want.
    3. 03Enter your details: give us your contact information to document ownership of the domain officially.
    4. 04Set the term: choose the registration period that suits you, one year or more.
    5. 05Complete payment: pay with one of our secure methods, and the domain is yours right away.

Domain transfer

From the transfer code to a finished transfer, without losing a day.

Domain transfer
  • Yes, absolutely! We welcome you to the Illevante family, and we support transfers for a wide range of generic and country-code domain extensions. The transfer requirements are simple steps:

    1. 01Unlock: make sure the domain is unlocked for transfer at your current registrar.
    2. 02Transfer code (EPP code): get the authorization code from your current domain control panel.
    3. 03Request through Illevante: choose “Transfer a domain” in the Domains section of the client area, and enter your details.
    4. 04Email confirmation: approve the confirmation email to get the process going.
  • The transfer process is designed to be smooth and secure, moving your domain without downtime when you follow these steps:

    1. 01Unlock the domain: in your domain control panel at your current registrar, so it becomes open for transfer.
    2. 02Request the authorization code (Auth/EPP code): from your current registrar; it’s the transfer key that proves you own the domain.
    3. 03Start the request at Illevante: from the transfer page or the client area, by entering the domain name and the authorization code.
    4. 04Confirm the transfer: you’ll receive a confirmation email at your registered address, and once you approve, the process officially starts.
  • Yes, but it isn’t a wasted transfer fee; it’s an investment in your domain’s validity:

    1. 01Automatic renewal: in most cases, such as .com and .net domains, the transfer fee includes renewing the domain for a year, added to its expiry date, so you don’t lose your previous term; you gain a year on top of it.
    2. 02Extensions differ: the cost varies with the domain’s extension; a .com is priced differently from .net, .org or local domains.
    3. 03Your current registrar’s policy: in very rare cases, the registrar you’re leaving may charge an administrative fee, so check with them.
    4. 04The cost when you order: as soon as you enter your domain on the transfer page, the system works out its cost and shows whether it includes renewal for an extra year.

DNS and domain records

Where to manage your records, what DNS Console supports, and why propagation takes time.

DNS Console
  • In DNS Console, Illevante’s platform for managing domains and DNS zones: A, MX, CNAME, TXT and other records from an intuitive panel, fast propagation, and 99.99% reliability.

  • It is your domain’s record file: where its website is, where its mail arrives, and who issues its certificates. Every domain you add to DNS Console has its own zone, which you manage from a single page.

  • Yes. Add the domain to DNS Console, then set Illevante’s two name servers at the registrar, and its zone is answered from the platform.

    1. 01Add the domain to DNS Console, then add its records or apply a template to it.
    2. 02At the registrar, replace its current name servers with ns5.illevante.cloud and ns6.illevante.cloud.
    3. 03Follow the change in propagation monitoring until the old servers’ TTL runs out.

SSL certificates and protection

Certificates and their types, and protecting your site from attacks.

SSL certificates
  • Because it’s required to run HTTPS, and because visitors, browsers and search engines now judge your site by it.

    1. 01Secure data transfer: HTTPS encrypts everything your site exchanges with the visitor’s browser, so login details and card numbers can’t be intercepted or stolen.
    2. 02Visible trust: the padlock beside the URL is instant proof of security; clicking it shows the validated domain and the expiry date, and with OV and EV, the organization’s name and address.
    3. 03Approval from browsers and search engines: sites without SSL drop in search results, and their visitors see a “This site is not secure” message.
  • Although free certificates like Let's Encrypt are available, organizations that aim for professionalism prefer paid certificates from trusted certificate authorities, for these reasons:

    1. 01Longer stability, less effort: a paid certificate is issued for a full year, while a free one needs renewing every 3 months, and automatic renewal doesn’t always guarantee uninterrupted service.
    2. 02No sudden outages: any technical glitch on the server while a free certificate renews can make it lapse at once, so your search ranking drops and browser warnings drive your visitors away.
    3. 03Broad compatibility: a paid certificate works reliably on old and new browsers, while a free one often conflicts with older versions of browsers and operating systems.
    4. 04Organization identity validation: a free certificate is limited to domain validation (DV), while a paid one lets you include your organization’s official details.
    5. 05Insurance cover: if a security incident covered by the warranty occurs, the holder of a paid certificate can file a claim and receive insurance payouts.
    6. 06Flexible configuration: combine advanced options in one certificate, such as protecting an IP address together with Wildcard and SAN.
    7. 07Specialist support: priority technical support from the issuer for any question or technical issue.
    8. 08Global credibility: issued by internationally known authorities, it gives your site a seal of credibility that browsers recognize and professional users value.
  • A Wildcard certificate is issued for a domain name in which an asterisk (*) stands in for the subdomain name, so one certificate protects all your subdomains at the same level. It’s useful for sites with many subdomains, or that keep adding new subdomains at the same level.

Tools and reports

WHOIS, record and certificate checks, and reports anyone can verify.

Domain tools
  • Its registrar, its registration, expiry and last-updated dates, its status codes and its name servers, as its extension’s own registry states them. We don’t show the owner’s personal details.

  • F: browsers don’t trust the certificate (it has expired, doesn’t cover the name, or its chain doesn’t reach a trusted root). C: the certificate is sound, but the server accepts TLS 1.0 or 1.1, or its key is weak. B: sound, but missing HSTS or the redirect to HTTPS. A: sound, with a good setup. A+: all that, plus HSTS for at least six months and a redirect to HTTPS.
