Overview
What is .tours
.tours is the plural of the English word tour: an organized trip or outing. It speaks to trip organizers, tour guides and travel companies, and to those running walking, tasting or heritage tours. It was added to the internet’s root in 2015, and IANA’s record names Binky Moon, LLC as the body responsible for it.
It tells travelers at first sight that you take them on a tour, not just sell them a ticket, which is what someone planning a visit to an unfamiliar country looks for. It supports names in Arabic and DNSSEC signing.
We have an offer for its first year, and renewal costs more. It is plural, so some may type tour without the s, and it is less familiar than .com to some travelers; write the address everywhere rather than only saying it.
