Overview

What is .club

The word club means a place where people gather around a sport, a hobby or a shared interest. .club entered the internet’s root in 2014 and is run by Registry Services, LLC; it is one of the new extensions whose meaning needs no explaining, since the word club is familiar in many languages.

.club suits any group with members: a sports club in your neighborhood, a reading club, a chess team or a circle of photography lovers. A café or a shop can use it too, to say its customers are more than customers: a group that keeps coming back.

With us its price is fixed for the first year and every renewal, and lower than most of our extensions. But note: the word club suggests membership and leisure, so it doesn’t suit a company that wants to look formal, or a clinic or a law office. Register the same name in .com too if it’s free, as some of your members will type it out of habit.

What it does for you

What you gain when you register it

  • A name that gathers members

One address every member knows, for dates, news and photos.

  • Email in the club’s name

info@shatranj-tripoli.club tells the reader where the message came from before they open it.

  • Meaning without explaining

The word club is understood in many languages, so you never have to explain your extension.

  • A price that doesn’t change

The first year and the renewal cost the same, so the club’s budget gets no surprises.
