Overview

What is .vip

VIP is short for an English phrase meaning a very important person, and people know it from airport lounges, event halls and private entry passes. It suits premium services: reception lounges, private clubs, loyalty programs for top customers, and every business that promises its customer special treatment.

.vip entered the internet’s root in 2015, is run by Registry Services, LLC, and supports DNSSEC signing and names in Arabic letters. With us its price is the same for the first year and every renewal, and it is among the lowest of the new extensions we sell. Its few letters are easy to say in any language.

The word is a big promise: if the service isn’t truly premium, the name becomes an exaggeration the customer notices from their first visit. Some people may link it to overblown ads, so make the site behind it calm, polished and free of ads, worthy of what the name promises.
